Well, in spite of “President” Obama’s half-hearted attempts to get his Party to “look forward,” Congressional Democrats have started their witch hunt against former Bush Administration officials over so-called torture of suspected terrorists. Never mind that Democrats knew about the so-called torture and didn’t raise a peep at the time (hello, Nancy Pelosi). Never mind that the so-called torture methods did not involve intense physical pain or disfigurement (unlike the real torture methods used by our enemies). Never mind that the methods used obtained information that prevented the deaths of many American citizens (why won’t they release all of the memos?). The Dems are in power, and they smell blood. They’ve got the posts in the ground and they’re gathering rope and fuel.
Other than being outraged over the so-called violations of terrorists’ rights, Congress is also concerned about the rights of average American citizens, and they’re looking out for us as well.
- They want to limit or eliminate your Constitutionally guarenteed right to keep and bear arms
- They want to impose the unFairness doctrine, limiting free speech rights
- Their proposed health care plan will deny you the right to choose your own health care, and ration the care that is available
- They want to appoint activist judges who will interpret the Constitution to further limit individual liberty
- They even want to control how much you can earn
I wish someone could tell me how these arrogant jackasses keep getting re-elected.
