What Price Freedom?

How much is your freedom worth to you? Is it worth $10? $100? $1000? To tell you the truth, I don’t think you can put a price on freedom – if you could, it would be a price you couldn’t afford to pay. Our freedom has been paid for with the blood of patriots who gave their lives to obtain it and preserve it.

Today, our freedoms and essential liberties are under attack. Not by a foreign enemy, but by a President and Congress who seem to have missed the little detail that in the United States of America, government is of the People, by the People, and for the People. Instead, we have wannabe rulers who by their actions show that they truly believe that “We the People” exist to serve big Government.

Two days ago, ONE person had the courage to speak truth to power – he called Obama on one of his many lies regarding health care reform. As a result of his honesty, he is faces censure (even though perpetual liar Pelosi at first said he wouldn’t), vilification from most of the “free” press, and targeting by libtards who have raised almost $1 million for his opponent in just a couple of days. Why? Because he had the honesty and conviction to stand up against Obama’s lies.

How much is your freedom worth? Will you let Joe Wilson be burried by those who oppose liberty and freedom? I’m donating $100 to his campaign. If you value your freedom, you should consider donating too. Joe Wilson for Congress – change I can believe in.
