When people make outrageous comments like ‘Obama is intentionally trying to destroy our country’, I interpret that as RACIST because that accusation would not be applied to any white president. What benefit would be obtained by Obama intentionally destroying this counrty (sic)???
OK. Obama is intentionally trying to destroy the United States. There, I said it, I believe it with all my heart, and I’m not going to apologize for saying it. Besides intentionally trying to destroy our country, he is also a narcissist and a pathological liar. If that makes me a racist, so be it.
The United States isn’t just a chunk of real estate. It is also a system of laws, and a political system based on rule of law. Our particular system is built on the belief that government serves the People. Its job is to protect the People’s rights to Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness. We have a Constitution, the supreme law of our land, that very clearly spells out our rights as citizens and places strict limits on the power of our government.
Mr. Obama believes in a different form of government. He has described our Constitution as a “negative” document, because it only says what Government can’t do – not what Government can do for (or to) us. In Mr. Obama’s world, citizens are subservient to Government (all for the Greater Good, of course). In his world, it’s perfectly acceptable for Government to tell a private business how to conduct their business. It’s perfectly acceptable to tell you what kind of car you’ll be allowed to drive of even if you’re allowed to drive. In Mr. Obama’s world, it’s even acceptable for Government to tell private citizens which doctors they will be allowed to see and what medical treatment they will be allowed access to.
In the America I grew up in, none of this would have been considered acceptable. In my America, government has absolutely no right to tell a business how much they’re “allowed” to pay their employees. Other than polution standards, they have no “right” to tell me what kind of car I’m “allowed” to buy. And government sure as hell has no right to tell me what doctor I can see, what health insurance I can buy, or what treatment I can pay for with my own damn money.
The United States I grew up in was based on liberty and Rule of Law. While not perfect, our system of government and a capitalist-based economy has resulted in the highest standard of living in the history of the planet. It has given the world advances in industry, technology, and health care that are unequaled.
Mr. Obama wants to change all that. He wants to try another system, one in which the Government and its allies control just about everything. It’s not a new system, it’s one that has been tried numerous times in the history of the world. Depending on exact form, it’s been known as socialism, communism, or fascism, but all forms are authoritarian in nature. Collectively, these forms of Government have also resulted in more human suffering and death than all other forms of government combined, especially in the 20th Century. Yet, this is the form of Government that Mr. Obama embraces, and the form he (or should it be ‘He’?) is trying to impose even though most citizens oppose it.
Yes, President Obama is trying to destroy the United States and remake it in his own image. If saying so makes me a racist ten so be it. Those who would deny that he’s trying to destroy this country, though, are either delusional, lying, or just not paying attention. After all, he said it himself – “…we will fundamentally change America.”
