ME ME ME!!! Why Why Why???

Saw this recently, yet another “progressive” who just doesn’t get it…
Someone please tell me again WHY we run human life around money? I know too many people doing work (or job searches) that KEEP them AWAY from contributing their best work to the world!
Because, my “progressive” friend, you just don’t get it. Money does not rule my world, it is simply a tool. Money allows people to purchase the goods, services, and talents of others. Lets say for example that I want some custom graphics for my web site (if you’re reading this you can see that it’s more like I desperately need them) but I don’t have the talent or skill to create them myself. What should I do? I KNOW! Find a graphic designer or artist. But how do I get the designer or artist to make my graphics for me? I might have something of value or some skill that I could trade for the graphics, but what if I don’t? I could wait until they created something I could work with and rip it off, but that would be stealing. I could kidnap them and force them to create my graphics, but that’s even worse than stealing. I could petition the government to require the artist to create my graphics for me – after all, it’s not fair that the artist should have all that talent and I have none – but slavery is illegal too (at least for now). So what to do?
I KNOW! I could earn some money, and then use the money I’ve earned to pay the artist to create the graphics that I want. It’s a total win-win. I get the graphics I want need and the artist gets paid for their work. What is so hard to accept about such an arrangement? Yet any time you hear some libtard pissing and moaning about “corporate greed,” that’s really what they’re complaining about. The quote above was part of a lament about not being able to fly to Washington DC. Let’s go with the assumption the trip shouldn’t involve money.
OK, we’re flying to DC without having to pay money. I’m assuming we won’t be sleeping in the park (safety concerns you know…) so hotel workers will probably involved somewhere along the line. Without money, how will they be compensated. What about the airline? Unless the pilots, flight attendants, etc. are working for free they will need to be compensated as well. Again, pretty difficult unless money is involved. What about the airplane and fuel? They probably weren’t donated to the airline. Most likely they were purchased – with MONEY.
When I think about it, most of my “progressive” friends don’t have a problem with the concept of money, it’s just that they think other people’s money should be used to pay for the things they want. And yet according to them we’re the ones who are selfish. Bullshit.
