Books
If we are going to win this battle for our country and restore the principles it was founded on, education is the key. You first need to educate yourself, then you can educate others. I have found the following books useful. I hope you will enjoy reading them as well.
Rules for Radicals is the definitive explanation of and instruction manual for the modern American Left. Although I vehemently disagree with the politics promoted in this book, I feel it is important for Conservatives and other people who love liberty to read it. The best way to defeat an enemy is to understand them. I would go so far as to say that without understanding your enemy, victory is impossible. This book explains not only what the radical Leftists in America think about our country, it explains the exact tactics they are using to take it over and destroy our system of government. Read it, learn from it, and turn it back on them.
Animal Farm was required reading in one of my high school literature classes. I wish it were required reading for ALL high school students, especially today. What goes on with the leaders in this book is eerily similar to what is going on in our country today, especially regarding redefinition of the Constitution by the ruling class.
Also chilling is the way the rulers view those they are supposed to be serving, the way they treat even their most loyal supporters when they are no longer useful to them, and their willingness to embrace their former enemies at the expense of those they are supposed to serve. Kind of like our current Democratic leaders embrace the Marxist policies of our former and current enemies.
1984 is another book by George Orwell that has eerily similar parallels to our current political climate. If you are a young person who has heard the term “Orwellian” and wondered what it meant, reading this book should answer that question for you. The way the authorities in this book define any dissenting viewpoint as a “thought crime” and the way they rewrite history to support whatever crap sandwich the are currently pushing reminds me so much of the tactics of the modern American Left. A disturbing book that was written as a warning. I guess not enough people have been paying attention.
